Most cytotoxic T cells express T-cell receptors (TCRs) that can recognize a specific antigen, and a glycoprotein called CD8 which binds to the constant portion of the class I MHC molecule. When exposed to infected\/dysfunctional somatic cells, CD8+ T cells release the cytotoxins perforin, granzymes, and granulysin, which triggers the caspase cascade and eventually leads to apoptosis.\u00a0 CD8+ T cells have been implicated in the pathogenesis of hepatitis B virus infection <sup>[<\/sup><sup>1]<\/sup>, arthritis <sup>[2]<\/sup> etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>iXCells Biotechnologies<\/strong> offers CD8+ T cells isolated from normal human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using negative immunomagnetic selection.\u00a0 &gt; 90% of the cells are CD8+ as showed by flow cytometric analysis (Figure 1).<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" src=\"https:\/\/ixcellsbiotech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Human_Peripheral_Blood_CD8_Cytotoxic_T_Cells_Untouched_-_description_.png\" alt=\"Human Peripheral Blood CD8 Cytotoxic T Cells Untouched description \" width=\"587\" height=\"467\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><b>Figure 1<\/b>.
